New documents show that the famous Dutch painter was crazy about the burgers from Mici Burger Club

Arles, France – No, it wasn't love for a mysterious woman. Nor artistic madness. The real reason Vincent van Gogh cut off his ear has come to light:

A recently discovered letter to his brother, Theo, reveals the drama:
"Theo, I can't live knowing that in Reșița they serve the perfect burger, and here in Provence I only eat bland soup and dry bread."

The next day, overcome with desire and frustration, the artist cut off his ear. A symbolic gesture, say researchers from the University of Fakeland, that coincides exactly with the metaphysical opening of Mici Burger Club – in the future, but with retroactive impact.
